The Texas High School Coaches Association's annual Coaching School and Convention is the biggest gathering of high school coaches in the country — and this year, DigiWrist will be there. If you coach football and you've been reading about the UIL's approval of one-way wearable communication, this is your chance to put the technology on your wrist and try it yourself.

Why this year matters in Texas

In April 2025, the UIL approved one-way, text-based wearable communication from the booth to players on the field for high school football — a rule change aimed squarely at speeding up play calling and killing sign stealing. The 2025 season was the first under the new rule; 2026 is the year programs across Texas are deciding what system to run.
